Quartz Era Studios is a small, indie development studio founded by Noah Layne in 2020.
Our main goal is to create experiences that invoke creativity and imagination through gaming as an art form. By using strong story-telling, creative art, and heart-felt music, we hope to create the memories that many of us had growing up with our favorite games.
Living in a time full of "rock-solid gameplay," we hope to create stories that will stick with you for years to come.
Noah is the Project Director and founder of the QES Team. Noah has always been a huge fan of video games growing up. His best memories were playing various Nintendo games with his cousin, Knox on the weekends and being immersed in worlds that dispense creativity. He hopes to bring that same inspiration to others just as it did for him. As he likes to say, "Keep Gaming!"
Knox is the QES Team's Brand Manager. Growing up with video games created a yearning to help create his own. His goal is to create timeless experiences that will give other young developers their "spark." You'll never seem him slacking, but you may occasionally hear him talk about his favorite games for hours. Some only wish they were as passionate as him.
Mr.Bored is our honorary QES Art Director. Not much is known about our 2D friend, but he begged to be part of the team over a phone call. Story's been driven to create, be it drawings, animations, books, or comics. Having a fondness over video games growing up, game development is a medium he is very passionate about. and hopes to show that through his designs.
Ransom is Quartz's Community Manager. Having a mind always thinking of interesting ways to tell stories, he currently devotes himself to writing. Usually the "common sense" of the group, he's never afraid to tell us if an idea could be improved. He has always loved the Legend of Zelda series ever since getting Twilight Princess at an ear
